Audubon was the place Eddie Morgan Jr. was given the nickname "The Stunner" by announcer Robin Burns, because of his ability to race off the pace and make big moves to win with longshots. Morgan the father of Tony "15000 + wins" Morgan, died in June

Worked at Audubon Raceway for one fall season of harness racing as the official charter. Great experience even though the owner/manager at the time was a shaky character. There were families of trainer/drivers there that made the races very interesting to chart ~ having to keep the horses and the drivers straight. Sad to have it gone. Was a good track for smaller stables.
